The opportunity

Fleet Planning and Procurement sits at the heart of easyJet's long-term commercial strategy. This senior role will help shape short, medium and long-term fleet plans for more than 360 aircraft across easyJet's three airlines.

Working closely with the Head of Fleet Planning and Procurement, you'll strengthen how fleet decisions are analysed, governed and communicated. Your work will influence fleet strategy, capital allocation, supplier engagement and the management of aircraft and engine value throughout their lifecycle.

This new and exciting role is perfect for someone with demonstrated experience in airline fleet planning and strategic thinking, with a desire to be at the forefront of the team's advice to the senior management and easyJet's decision making. It requires someone with energy, drive, attention to detail, and the ability both to bring people together and grapple with highly complex and sometimes competing requirements. In this role you will have the scope to improve both our decisions and the way we make them.

You'll join a lean, high-impact team that works across Strategy, Network, Finance, Flight Operations and Engineering & Maintenance. The team also leads strategic relationships with major aerospace suppliers, supporting sourcing, negotiation and long-term contract management.

What you'll be doing

You'll develop and maintain fleet plans and build scenarios that balance utilisation, operational performance, capital deployment and long-term value.

You'll lead analysis of aircraft and engine acquisition, financing, leasing, operation and disposal opportunities, translating complex evidence into clear business cases and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

You'll modernise planning methods, tools and governance, using automation, optimisation and AI-enabled decision support where they add value. You'll also improve documentation, consistency and the quality of assumptions behind key decisions.

Requirements of the Role

What we’re looking for

You'll bring significant airline fleet planning experience and a strong understanding of the financial, operational and technical factors that shape fleet decisions, including lifecycle economics, ownership structures and long-term asset value.

You're an intellectually curious, commercially minded problem solver with strong financial modelling skills, advanced Excel capability and the judgement to produce accurate, evidence-based recommendations.

You communicate complex analysis clearly, build credibility with senior stakeholders and can lead cross-functional work through ambiguity. Experience improving processes or introducing new analytical, technology or data-led approaches will be highly valuable.
