Job summary

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 SCBU Staff Nurse to join the neonatal team in Guildford. You should have recent Band 5 experience in neonatal/paediatric nursing, be compassionate, and capable of mentoring students and junior staff.

You will support the Ward Manager, uphold BLISS Baby Charter and UNICEF Baby Friendly standards, and contribute to delivering excellent neonatal care. The post is permanent, part-time, with salary £33,677 to £40,996 per year pro rata, under

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Part 8 or 15 must be held.
• Holds current NMC registration and adheres to the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development in past 12-24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care, implement and supervise safe and compassionate care.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care and advocate for best patient outcomes.
• Facilitate learning and development of students and junior staff; show leadership.
