Job description

Scanning and Print Room Technician
Temporary Assignment | £15.66 per hour LTD | £12.21 PAYE
Full-time | Based on-site in Ashford
We’re currently working with a client in Ashford who are seeking a Scanning and Print Room Technician to support their digital services team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scanning and indexing archived legal and corporate documents into a digital document management system (Idox DMS)
  • Supporting digital print services alongside the Senior Digital Reprographics Officer
  • Completing print room tasks such as envelope stuffing, laminating, spiral and wire binding, padding, and booklet folding
  • Maintaining accurate records of all scanning jobs to support internal tracking and cross-charging
  • Working independently to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
Requirements:
  • Good standard of education (GCSE level or equivalent)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and logging data
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
  • Friendly and flexible team player
Experience in a print room or digital reprographics environment is desirable but not essential.
