ITV is seeking a Software Engineer (Scala) at Core Level in London, working hybrid across User and Payments streaming domains. You will craft scalable Scala microservices for ITVX, focusing on craft and independent contribution while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will also ensure test coverage, participate in design sessions, and support live services with on-call rotation.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with Scala focus.
• Strong testing mindset: unit and integration tests required.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Craft high-quality Scala code and deliver robust microservices.
• Write tests and ensure code is peer-reviewed via PRs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and operational health monitoring.
