Job summary

Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is recruiting a SCADA Operator (Wind Turbines) for the Perth, Scotland office. You will monitor onshore wind turbines using SCADA and operational monitoring systems, analyse turbine data, and respond to alarms to maximise performance and availability.

This role includes full training on wind turbine systems, a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule, and clear path for progression within the renewable energy sector as you develop expertise in operation, fault

Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA, control systems or remote monitoring platforms.
• Background in power generation, electrical engineering or industrial automation.
• Experience analysing technical or operational data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor onshore wind turbines using SCADA and monitoring systems.
• Analyse turbine data, alarms, availability and generation.
• Investigate faults and alarms, escalating as required.
• Identify trends through data analysis and reporting.
• Support field engineers and O&M teams with technical information.
• Produce operational and turbine performance reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve turbine availability and efficiency.
• Develop technical expertise within the renewable energy sector.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; based from the Perth office.
