Qualifications

• Familiarity with SCADA system architecture and principles.
• Proficient in using Linux systems and MySQL databases.
• Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the SCADA system.
• Regularly inspect and maintain SCADA hardware and software.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues within the SCADA system.
• Configure and optimize the SCADA system.
• Participate in SCADA system upgrade projects.
• Write and update system operation documentation.
• Collaborate with development team on custom projects.
• Monitor network security.
• Provide operation reports and recommendations.
• Travel to client’s site for technical support.

Skills

Familiarity with SCADA system architecture and principles

Strong network knowledge, including TCP/IP protocols

Familiarity with common communication protocols (IEC104, Modbus, etc.)

Proficiency in SCADA database maintenance

Skilled in using Linux systems and MySQL

Ability to use scripting languages (Python, Bash)

Experience with SCADA software for power industry

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Electronic Engineering, or related field
