Job summary

Gazelle Global Consulting Limited is seeking a SCADA engineer to support critical electricity network infrastructure in the UK. The role focuses on SCADA engineering, RTU integration, telemetry and ICCP communications across an operational energy environment. You'll configure systems, perform integration and testing, troubleshoot faults and support interfaces between control centre systems and field assets. Relevant experience in distribution, transmission or OT environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in electricity distribution, transmission or OT environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with SCADA platforms, RTUs and communications protocols.
• Exposure to IEC 61850, DNP3 and related standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SCADA systems and RTU interfaces.
• Integrate and test interfaces between control centres and field assets.
• Investigate faults and support continuous control system improvements.

A major UK DNO is seeking a SCADA engineer to support critical electricity network infrastructure and ongoing control system improvements.

The role centres on SCADA engineering, RTU integration, telemetry and ICCP communications across an operational energy environment. You'll be involved in system configuration, integration, testing, fault investigation and supporting interfaces between control centre systems and field assets.

Experience working within electricity distribution, transmission or wider utility OT environments would be highly relevant, particularly where you have worked with SCADA platforms, RTUs and communications protocols.
