SCADA Engineer – Field-Based (Devon & Cornwall)Location: Sites across Devon and Cornwall

A leading utilities organisation is embarking on a major SCADA transformation programme—and we’re looking for a
field-based SCADA Engineer to play a key role in delivering it.
What you'll be doing:- Supporting the rollout and configuration of SCADA systems across multiple operational sites
- Travelling across Devon and Cornwall to assess, implement and refine control system installations
- Working collaboratively with engineers, project teams and suppliers to modernise infrastructure
- Ensuring integration of SCADA with PLCs and RTUs using industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, DNP3)
What you'll bring:- Proven experience configuring SCADA systems in industrial or utilities environments
- Familiarity with systems such as Ovarro Scope, Enterprise SCADA, and Nematron Paragon
- Strong understanding of PLC/RTU integration and control networks
- Ability to interpret Functional Design Specifications, control philosophies and engineering drawings
- Experience working within regulated environments (e.g. water, energy)
- Awareness of OT cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443 and NCSC guidance
- Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to OT/IT convergence, digital transformation, or asset management tools
