Job description

We re looking for a skilled and driven Controls Engineer to join our growing team. You ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of BMS (Building Management System) control systems from programming to commissioning ensuring seamless integration with a variety of systems and technologies.

Control Systems Engineer

GBP35-42k + Car Or Car Allowance & Overtime

Home Based position - Central UK

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and commission BMS control systems at customer sites.

• Install hardware and software to control panels.

• Integrate control systems with electrical, mechanical, and irrigation infrastructure using protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and CANbus.

• Develop bespoke control programs tailored to project requirements.

• Modify new and existing control panels and equipment

• Provide technical support via phone or online during working hours.

• Assist and support other engineers, third-party technicians, and clients

• Perform room performance testing according to provided schedules.

• Complete test reports and associated documentation.

• Conduct servicing and maintenance of control systems and panels.

The Person:

• Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of control systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to question and support others

• Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not essential.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently
