Job summary

Earthstream is looking for a SCADA Engineer in Necton, Norwich. The role involves supporting the installation of HV and WTG SCADA systems, ensuring compliance with specifications during commissioning phases.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant engineering education, certifications, and experience with SCADA systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining systems, and weekly progress reporting to management. This freelance position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic offshore environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Client role.
• All required offshore certificates for Wind Turbines.
• Excellent planning/coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Client witness/support for acceptance tests (FAT/SAT).
• Support investigations and report on HV Network events.
• Provide SCADA/control system support to the team.

Skills

HV/WTG/Auxiliary SCADA systems experience

Industrial Communication Protocols knowledge

Fluent English communication

Problem-solving abilities

Education

Relevant technical or engineering education, degree/HNC or equivalent

IOSH/NEBOSH Certification

Tools

Industrial control systems

PLC’s, RTU’s, and IED’s
