Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a Secure Infrastructure Consultant for a 12-month contract based in Reading. The role requires SC clearance, with DV strongly preferred, and will involve 2 days per week onsite in the Reading area.

The successful candidate will own technical assurance from design through installation to accreditation, and will advise on TEMPEST considerations while ensuring secure network installations meet defence-grade standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading secure infrastructure projects from design to accreditation.
• In-depth knowledge of SCIDA and TEMPEST requirements.
• Ability to deliver secure facilities in Defence or Critical National Infrastructure.

• Working pattern: 2 days/week onsite (Reading area)
• Clearance: SC is mandatory; DV strongly preferred
• Nationality: Sole British only (no dual nationality)

What you’ll be doing

• Owning technical assurance for secure infrastructure from design → installation → accreditation

• Advising on / assuring TEMPEST considerations for the building and installed systems
• Overseeing secure physical network installation and ensuring it meets required security standards
• Delivery of secure facilities / infrastructure in Defence or Critical National Infrastructure
• Practical working knowledge of SCIDA and TEMPEST
• Track record taking secure networks through design, install, and accreditation
