Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth seeks a Systems Engineer to support the delivery of a Milsatcom Ground Control system. You will contribute to requirements analysis, BoM management and IVV&T with a focus on system-level trade-offs and architectural design.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space working on Ground Control systems for Military Satellite Communications in Portsmouth, UK. The Systems Engineer will provide support to the Delivery of a Milsatcom Ground Control system.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
• Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
• Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
• Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
• Systems Engineering inputs as required - to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
• Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
• Technical proposal inputs and support to bidding teams
