Job summary

Frontier Resourcing LTD is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a fast-growing defence-focused SME in the UK, with active SC or DV clearance and eDV sponsorship available. You will design, build and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with software and data teams on mission-critical National Security programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial DevOps/Platform Engineer experience in cloud environments.
• Hands-on AWS and container platforms with security-conscious design.
• Experience working in secure, regulated or classified environments.
• Exposure to Defence, Government or National Security programmes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage containerised environments using Kubernetes, EKS and OpenShift.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions.
• Support deployment, monitoring and maintenance across secure environments.
• Collaborate with Software and Data Engineers and other technical specialists.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, performance, security and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to engineering standards and continuous improvement.
• Support delivery of National Security programmes.
