Job summary

Experis IT is seeking a Data Engineer for a 6-month contract in Telford. The role is hybrid with 2 days on site per week and involves live service activities, morning checks and on-call incident resolution.

You will work with legacy data systems and use Java, SQL, server queries, scripting and interfaces to support production environments. Active SC clearance is required and the rate is up to £265 per day Umbrella inside IR35.

• Ability to resolve incidents and provide on-call support.
• Experience with legacy data systems and related tech (Java, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Provide Live Service Support and Morning Checks.
• Respond to and resolve user incidents.

• Participate in on-call rotation and production support.

Role purpose/summary

• Expertise in Live Service Activities, Carrying out Morning Checks, On Call Activities, Resolving User Incidents.
• Experience in Legacy Data Systems, Java, SQL, Server Queries, Scripting, Interfaces.
• Requires Security Clearance which is needed to access Production Servers
