Job summary

Octopus Computer Associates is urgently seeking a Data Engineer for a UK-based contract in Telford with remote options. The role is 6 months+ at £475 per day inside IR35.

You will provide live support for Denodo, Talend, PDI, Git, MySQL and Redshift, build and consolidate Grafana dashboards, and set up alerts for services. SC clearance is required, and on-site presence in Telford is expected for two days a week.

Qualifications

• SC clearance is required.
• Solid experience with Grafana monitoring.
• Experience in client-side roles is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide live support for Denodo, Talend, PDI, Git, MySQL, and Redshift.
• Create and consolidate Grafana dashboards.
• Configure and alert on services lacking monitoring.
• Gather requirements and deliver service-level dashboards.

Job Description:

Provide Live Support including:
Denodo/Talend/PDI/Git/MySQL/Redshift

Grafana monitoring:

• Dashboard creation/consolidation
• DAPM have several Dashboards for separate independent services and are looking to consolidate and create a Live Service view which can then drill down into by service - rather than having a new dashboard per service
• As well as dashboards - exposure to setting up/configuring alerting on services (Legacy) that do not have any monitoring and alerting already in place
• So gathering requirements, understanding the service and delivery alerts to suit

SC clearance is required.
Ideally experience of Grafana monitoring
Experience of working in a client side role would be beneficial but not essential.
