Job summary

Talent in Leeds is seeking a Senior Technical Architect (SC Cleared) to steer major modernization programs, delivering full-stack designs from cloud and on-prem networks to API integrations and databases.

You will act as architectural authority, guiding agile teams through the full software lifecycle, with a hybrid on-site requirement (2 days per week) and a 12-month contract inside IR35. Exceptional knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
• Experience migrating legacy platforms to modern cloud or hybrid environments.
• Expertise across cloud/on-prem infrastructure, security, middleware, and integration.
• Strong background in architectural modeling tools and bridging business/technical requirements.
• Experience with Microservices, APIs, Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka/Pub-Sub), or Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a huge plus.
