Job summary

Martin Veasey Talent Solutions is seeking an Interim Commercial Project Manager (SC Cleared) for a defence programme in Tewkesbury. The role is on-site, fixed-term, with the opportunity to apply for the permanent position.

You will own the delivery, secure commitment from production, planning and quality, and ensure orders ship on time and in full. The ideal candidate has defence project management experience, current SC clearance, and the ability to start promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a project or programme manager in defence sector.
• SC or DV security clearance; UK national.
• Able to start within days and work on-site five days a week.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules and customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Take immediate ownership of the programme delivery and schedule.
• Win commitment from production, planning and quality to ship orders on time.
• Drive progress on every customer order and implement recovery plans.
• Provide regular reporting rhythm to senior management and liaise with customer leadership.
