Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer to support a major endpoint deployment programme for Edgewing. This is a hands-on role focused on laptop build, deployment, endpoint management and advanced troubleshooting within a highly secure environment.

The position requires active SC Clearance, 3+ years in endpoint engineering and hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Entra ID. Onsite in Reading, 6-month contract, up to £635/day inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in endpoint engineering; 5+ years desirable.
• Experience supporting large-scale laptop deployment.
• Strong L3 troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in secure, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with build, configuration and rollout of laptop devices.
• Manage endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Provide 3rd Line (L3) support for endpoint issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex device, authentication, and configuration problems.
• Support device provisioning, enrolment, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with project and technical teams to ensure successful deployment outcomes.

Endpoint Engineer (Intune, Autopilot & Entra ID) | SC Cleared

Location: Reading (Onsite Monday-Friday)
Contract: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Up to £635 per day (Inside IR35/Umbrella)
Security Clearance: You must hold active SC Clearance
