Thales in Reading (UK) seeks an experienced Embedded Systems & Integration Engineer to develop and integrate software for edge-computing using NVIDIA Jetson, interfacing with cameras, IMUs, GNSS and storage. Role spans hardware/software integration across Jetson platforms and Linux in an embedded environment.

The ideal candidate will optimize C++ pipelines, adapt interfaces to new carrier boards, ensure robust operation and secure configurations, and be prepared to travel as required.

Qualifikationen

• Comfortable working from hardware documentation, schematics, interface specifications and manufacturer documentation.

Aufgaben

• Jetson / Embedded Linux: Develop, configure and maintain software on NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano platforms. Work with Ubuntu Linux in an embedded environment. Manage system resources and diagnose hardware/software integration problems.
• Hardware and Peripheral Integration: Integrate and configure hardware peripherals; carrier board integration and adapting software to new hardware changes.
