Job summary

DK Recruitment seeks a fully qualified SC Cleared Electrician to join a busy project team on a secure site in the Southwest. You will perform electrical installation, maintenance and testing while upholding strict safety and compliance standards.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition, AM2 where applicable, and 2391 or equivalent testing. You will read drawings, complete paperwork, and work with other trades to meet programme milestones.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with valid SC Clearance.
• Experience on secure sites is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across the site.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Carry out inspection, testing and fault finding where required.
• Ensure works comply with current regulations and project specifications.

SC Cleared Electrician

Rate: £28 - £33 hourly rate

The Role

We are currently looking for a fully qualified, SC Cleared Electrician to join a busy project team working on a secure site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across the site.
• Install and maintain electrical systems, containment, cabling, lighting and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Carry out inspection, testing and fault finding where required.
• Complete electrical works in accordance with current regulations and project specifications.
• Work closely with other trades and site management to ensure works are completed safely and on programme.
• Complete relevant paperwork, permits and site documentation.
• Maintain a high standard of health, safety and quality at all times.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician - NVQ Level 3 / equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• AM2 where applicable.
• Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
• Valid SC Clearance - essential.
• Relevant commercial/industrial or construction electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical health & safety requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider site team
