We are looking for a skilled and reliable Site Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, inspection, and fault-finding work across site projects.
You will work as part of a professional site team, ensuring all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while complying with current electrical regulations and site health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and fault finding.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, equipment, lighting, power supplies, and associated components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Complete job sheets, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
- Work closely with site managers, engineers, contractors, and other trades.
- Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard.
- Follow all company and site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications. Requirements
- Proven experience working as an electrician on construction or commercial sites.
- Good knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and fault finding.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
- ECS/CSCS or relevant site card preferred.
- 18th Edition qualification required.
- Inspection & Testing qualification would be an advantage.
