Job summary

MORRELL ELECTRICAL LIMITED is seeking a skilled Site Electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, inspection and fault finding across site projects. You will work as part of a professional team to deliver work safely and to high standards.

The ideal candidate will have 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS or a relevant site card, and experience on construction or commercial sites. You will read drawings, follow regulations, complete documentation, and cooperate with site managers

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.
• Experience on construction or commercial sites.
• Knowledge of electrical installations, testing and fault finding.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong health and safety understanding.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.
• ECS/CSCS or relevant site card preferred.
• 18th Edition qualification required.
• Inspection & Testing qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and fault finding.
• Install and maintain electrical systems, equipment, lighting, power supplies, and associated components.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Complete job sheets, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
• Work closely with site managers, engineers, contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard.
• Follow all company and site health and safety procedures.
