Job summary

Cleantech Impact Partners Ltd is seeking an SC-cleared DevOps/SRE Engineer to join a defence-focused client in London. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability tooling behind systems that support national security operations, collaborating with development and security teams in secure environments.

You will have hands-on DevOps/SRE experience and drive DevSecOps practices, with opportunities to grow technically, move toward security engineering, or progress into leadership

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is required.

SC Cleared DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer

We are working with a leading global IT and business consulting firm, deeply Embedded in UK Defence and National Security, to identify an experienced SC-cleared DevOps/SRE Engineer to join their defence team.

You'll be building and running the CI/CD pipelines, automation and observability tooling behind systems that support national security operations, driving DevSecOps best practice into environments where security and reliability have to work hand in hand, not compete with each other. Real technical ownership, close work with development and security teams, and problems worth solving properly.

Our client has decades of experience delivering to UK Defence and intelligence agencies, and backs its engineers to grow, whether that's going deeper technically, moving toward security engineering, or stepping into leadership over time.

Essential:

• Active SC clearance
• UK resident for a minimum of 5 years
• Due to the secure nature of the role, candidates must be sole UK nationals
• Hands-on DevOps/SRE experience, CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring/observability
• Comfortable working within secure, regulated environments

Desirable:

• Defence, Intelligence, or wider public sector background
• Experience with DevSecOps principles
• Military transition candidates with hands-on technical operations experience
