Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Test Manager to lead data migration validation across cloud-hosted platforms and complex data pipelines. You will design test strategy, plan resources, and manage risk and delivery for the test work-stream.

Responsibilities include validating data completeness, accuracy, and integrity; coordinating defect triage with vendors; and reporting progress to stakeholders. You must have ISTQB and 5+ years' test management, plus active SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data heavy system testing, particularly data migration validation.
• Experience testing enterprise or COTS platforms hosted in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of test lifecycle, defect management, and test reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and technical documentation.
• Comfortable engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Desirable: Prior experience with KISTERS WISKI or similar environmental/observability systems.
• Exposure to regulated or public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Validate migrated data sets for completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
• Support testing of complex, data driven user interfaces.
• Design and execute data migration test scenarios and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with vendor and customer teams on defect triage and resolution.
• Identify and highlight data migration risks and planning gaps.
• Contribute to overall test approach where migration risks extend beyond pure testing.
