Profectus Recruitment seeks an SC-cleared Cyber Security Assurance Specialist to join a major energy/research sector organisation in Abingdon, Oxfordshire (3 days onsite). The role covers assurance across IT, cloud and OT with governance via GovAssure and ISO standards.

You will work with technical teams to implement secure controls, manage risk, and communicate improvements to stakeholders. Start ASAP for a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• SC-cleared cyber security specialist with experience across IT, cloud and OT environments.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
• Knowledge of GovAssure, CAF, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security assurance assessments across IT, cloud and OT.
• Conduct risk assessments, maintain risk registers, suggest mitigations.
• Review security architectures; advise on secure infra and cloud solutions.
