Job summary

WNTD is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer for a 3-month contract to support a large enterprise Azure environment. The role is predominantly remote with occasional travel to Portsmouth.

You will maintain and develop enterprise cloud platforms, focusing on Azure landing zones, Entra ID, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), automation, and cloud governance. Collaboration with Architecture, Security and Network teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience within an enterprise environment.
• Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD
• Azure Landing Zones
• Management Groups, subscriptions, Azure Policy and RBAC
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Azure CLI
• CI/CD/pipeline-based infrastructure delivery
• Conditional Access, PIM and identity governance
• Hybrid identity and Active Directory integration
• Cloud monitoring, alerting and logging
• Azure governance, security and compliance
• Experience working within formal change and governance environments

Responsibilities

• Support Azure Landing Zone operations and develop reusable IaC modules.
• Automate and administer Entra ID capabilities and cloud governance.
• Maintain secure, standardised and scalable cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Network, Infrastructure and Identity teams on cloud adoption and migration initiatives.
