Job summary

VIQU Ltd in London is seeking a SC Cleared Senior Azure DevSec Engineer to own the secure delivery of a cloud-based API integration between an Azure API Management instance and an Azure App Service application.

The role requires extensive hands-on Azure engineering, API security in regulated environments, and production-ready CI/CD, with a hybrid London working pattern and Inside IR35 terms. You will collaborate with security, operations and product teams to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Azure engineering experience.
• Strong Azure API Management (APIM) expertise.
• Azure App Service administration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities and RBAC.
• Application and API security within regulated or secure environments.
• Azure networking, DNS, certificates and connectivity management.
• Production-grade CI/CD implementation.
• Python development and REST API integration.
• Git-based development and infrastructure management.
• Logging, monitoring, secrets management and operational support.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery to establish secure connectivity between APIM and Azure App Service.
• Implement and maintain production-ready CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Ensure application and API security in regulated environments.
• Manage identity, access control and networking configurations.
