Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Application, DevOps Security Engineer to join our London-based hybrid team. You will drive the secure productionisation of an Azure-hosted application and establish a robust APIM to App Service integration within a highly regulated environment.

The role requires extensive Azure, APIM, Entra ID, RBAC, and CI/CD expertise, with strong Python REST API skills and solid documentation and stakeholder communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure engineering and APIM in regulated environments.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Azure App Service.
• Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities and RBAC.
• Strong knowledge of application and API security in regulated environments.
• Azure networking, DNS, certificates and connectivity management.
• Proficient in CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
• Python development and REST API integration.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and secrets management.
• Production support and DevOps readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support productionisation of a critical Azure-hosted application in a highly regulated environment.
• Own the technical delivery to establish a secure and reliable connection between an existing Azure API Management (APIM) instance and an Azure App Service application.
• Work across Azure API Management and App Service integration.
• Contribute to Azure application engineering.
• Support security and identity implementation.
• Deliver DevOps and production readiness activities.
