Job summary

VIQU Limited is seeking a highly experienced SC Cleared Senior Azure DevSec Engineer in London. The role focuses on productionising a critical Azure-hosted application, linking APIM with App Service, and maintaining security and reliability in a regulated environment.

You will own secure delivery, DevSecOps practices, and identity & access controls while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure production readiness in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Azure engineering experience.
• Strong Azure API Management (APIM) expertise.
• Azure App Service administration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities and RBAC.
• Application and API security within regulated or secure environments.
• Azure networking, DNS, certificates and connectivity management.
• Production-grade CI/CD implementation.
• Python development and REST API integration.
• Git-based development and infrastructure management.
• Logging, monitoring and secrets management; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the technical delivery to establish a secure connection between an Azure API Management instance and an Azure App Service.
• Ensure secure integration of APIM with App Service and maintain production readiness.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, identity management and access controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable cloud solutions.
