Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the deployment of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters within a large enterprise environment. You will build and configure CI/CD pipelines, test Terraform code and deploy cloud infrastructure to support a third-party application.

This 6-month contract offers hybrid working in Manchester or Blackpool, at £490–£500 per day Inside IR35, and requires hands-on AKS/Kubernetes, Terraform testing, and enterprise DevOps tooling

Qualifications

Proven DevOps engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Hands-on AKS/Kubernetes administration and deployment experience.
Experience building and testing Terraform code and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to validate, test and deploy Terraform code
Deploy and configure dedicated AKS clusters and associated Azure infrastructure within an existing Azure Landing Zone
Implement automated validation, security checks and approval stages within deployment pipelines
Support the third-party application team with deployment requirements and platform configuration
Troubleshoot Terraform, pipeline, Azure and Kubernetes deployment issues
Ensure deployments meet existing engineering, security and governance standards
