Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a contractor for a 6-month role in Wokingham (hybrid: 3 days on-site). You will design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, using Terraform IaC, Azure DevOps pipelines, and secure cloud configurations.

The role requires active SC clearance and hands-on experience with Azure networking, Git, and YAML pipelines. Start ASAP with a 6-month contract and £325 per day.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is mandatory.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Azure infrastructure.
• Hands-on Terraform for provisioning cloud resources.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and YAML pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, private endpoints).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support Azure infrastructure per standards.
• Develop Terraform templates, modules, and deployment patterns.
• Support Azure DevOps processes: CI/CD, PRs, release automation.
• Deliver landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, monitoring.
• Maintain secure configurations: RBAC, private endpoints, encryption, logging.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot cloud issues across environments.
