Roger Dyson Ltd in Droitwich is seeking a hands-on Sawmill Operative to join our production team on a full-time basis. You will operate sawmill machinery, measure and cut steel and aluminium to specification, and assist with loading and unloading deliveries while keeping your area clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Operating sawmill machinery, including the saw, guillotine and press brake.
• Measuring and cutting steel to the required specifications.
• Sorting and stacking steel and aluminium to company standards.
• Assisting with loading and unloading steel and aluminium deliveries.
• Carrying out general yard duties as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
• Keeping your work area clean and organised.
• Working with the team to meet daily production targets.
