Job summary

AWD online seeks a Saw Operator / Machine Operator for a modern steel processing environment in Shafton. You will prepare material for fabrication using band saws, drill units and CNC-controlled equipment, while adhering to quality and health and safety policies.

You will work in the processing team to ensure fabrication is supplied with correctly identified material, with CNC machinery or mobile plant experience considered advantageous for the role.

JOB OVERVIEW

This is a practical opportunity for a Saw Operator / Machine Operator to contribute within a modern steel processing operation supplying construction and engineering customers.

The Saw Operator / Machine Operator will prepare material to support fabrication, working with band saws, drill units and CNC-controlled coping equipment while following company quality and health and safety policies.

Working within the processing team, the Saw Operator / Machine Operator will help keep fabrication supplied with correctly identified and processed material in a technology-led manufacturing environment.
