Job Description:

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company, in their search for a Saw Operator to work at their facility in Ellesmere Port.

For the successful Saw Operator, our client is offering:

• £12.50 plus £2760 per year shift premium
• Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, and 10pm-6am rotating shifts
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Training and Development opportunities

The role - Saw Operator:

• Verifying stock to work order requirements
• Setting up saws
• Cutting and verifying parts are within customer-required tolerances using micrometer and caliper instruments
• Performing daily maintenance checks of the metal saw and completing checklists
• Coordinating pickup of scrap metal containers
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT

What our client is looking for in a Saw Operator:

• FLT Counter Balance License - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Experience working with similar machinery
