Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract in the Portsmouth area. The role focuses on supporting the systems engineering process for satellite communication solutions, including antenna equipment and management software.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status with IET or equivalent.
• Understanding of systems engineering across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify stakeholders and capture their needs and expectations.
• Define solution boundaries and system architecture in collaboration with IS/IT specialists.
• Elicit and validate requirements across the full lifecycle of the system.
• Lead modelling and system analysis, including performance and trade-off studies.
• Define and manage interface requirements and verify implementations.
• Oversee export control classification and safeguarding of data.
