Applefields School in Selby, North Yorkshire, is seeking a caring and reliable driver for a permanent role. The post covers 12 hours per week on Saturdays, with responsibilities including safe passenger transport and assisting with boarding and alighting.

Experience with minibus driving is an advantage, though not essential. D1 entitlement on the driving licence is an essential requirement, and full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Caring and reliable driver with good communication to support passengers.

Responsibilities

• Drive minibuses and other vehicles, undertaking minor repairs as needed.
• Ensure safe boarding, travel, and alighting of all passengers with proper use of safety equipment.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, carers and colleagues.
