Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an SAP UK Payroll and HCM Consultant in London/Gloucester on a hybrid basis. This 40-hour-per-week, full-time role focuses on configuring and supporting SAP UK Payroll and HCM solutions, ensuring accurate, compliant HR operations and end-to-end payroll processing.

The candidate will collaborate with HR, Finance, and technical teams on monthly payroll cycles, year-end activities, and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Payroll Schema and PCRs
• Wage type configuration
• Configuration of payroll area and periods
• FI/CO integration with Payroll
• RTI and HMRC UK requirements
• SAP UK Payroll knowledge and hands-on experience
• SAP HCM knowledge and experience
• Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot payroll issues
• Set up new wage types for different payments and deductions
• Configure Payroll PCRs
• Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support monthly payroll and year-end activities
• Understand business requirements for payroll changes
• SAP HCM configuration in UK context
• Compliance & statutory requirements support
• Integrations with downstream systems
• Manage incident resolution priorities
• Analyze SAP KBA for changes and HRSP upgrades
