Role: SAP Test Manager

Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based (location subject to change due to planned office relocation)

Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Salary: £48,000 - £54,995 (Dependant on Experience)

About the Role:

EG Group is seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to join our SAP Centre of Excellence team. This role involves leading testing efforts for SAP projects as part of our digital transformation and system upgrade initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with test automation, preferably using SAP Cloud ALM.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Test Management: Develop and execute test strategies for SAP implementations, upgrades, and changes.
2. Test Planning & Execution: Oversee the testing lifecycle, including functional, SIT, and UAT.
3. Test Team Leadership: Lead and mentor testers, manage tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
4. Defect Management: Track and prioritize defects, working with teams for resolution.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate testing and business change risks.
6. Business Process Change Management (BPCM): Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
7. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement new testing technologies and methodologies.
8. Training & Documentation: Conduct training and prepare documentation.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, business users, and stakeholders.
10. Compliance and Governance: Ensure testing activities align with policies, standards, and regulations.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
• Project Management certification (Prince2 or equivalent)
• Experience with SAP ECC and S4 Hana
• Minimum 6 years of SAP Testing experience, with at least 3 years in a Test Manager role
• Experience with SAP testing processes and test automation
• Knowledge of SAP project lifecycles and data migration strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
