Job summary

Salt is seeking a senior SAP Technical Architect/Technology Lead to steer the technical architecture across major SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes in a hybrid setup (London, Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester). You will shape target architecture, roadmaps and governance while staying close to delivery to resolve complex technical decisions.

You’ll work across early strategy and delivery, challenging SIs and Vendors, and collaborating with CIOs, CTOs and Enterprise Architects.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP architecture experience across ECC and S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong governance and solution design leadership with stakeholder engagement.
• Experience challenging SI/Vendor approaches and acting as Design Authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture across SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Define target architecture, roadmaps and governance for delivery.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams and communicate with CIO/CTO/Enterprise Architects.

SAP Technical Architect/Technology Lead

Locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester | Hybrid

A leading global consultancy is looking for a senior SAP Technical Architect/Technology Lead to lead the technical architecture across major SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.

You’ll work across both early-stage strategy/Phase 0 and delivery, defining target architecture, technology roadmaps and governance, while remaining close enough to delivery to resolve complex technical decisions.

Key experience required:

• Led technical architecture across multiple ECC/S/4HANA transformations
• Broad expertise across SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Cloud, IAM/Security, Fiori and Basis
• Strong understanding of Clean Core, RISE, SAP Business AI/Joule and modern SAP architecture
• Experience defining target-state architecture and technology strategy
• Able to challenge SIs/vendors and operate as Design Authority
• Credible with CIOs, CTOs and Enterprise Architects
• Strong consulting background including discovery, solution shaping, RFPs/proposals and executive presentations
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams

Hybrid working across office, home and client sites, with travel up to approximately 40%.
