SAP Scheduling e-PPDS Consultant

My client, a top global company, is currently looking to recruit a SAP Scheduling expert with SAP e-PPDS / PPDS to join their team on a contract basis. Please note this role is Inside IR35 and will need to be set up via Umbrella Company/PAYE. The SAP Scheduling expert with SAP e-PPDS / PPDS is required to deliver a set of harmonized processes for the Production Planning stream within the S/4 HANA template on SAP e-PPDS, supporting the replacement of current solutions.

Key responsibilities for the SAP Scheduling e-PPDS Consultant:

• Adhere to the global S/4 HANA template, ensuring an adopt-not-adapt approach to process design to facilitate a successful transition from SAP ECC.
• Define business requirements for Scheduling/Production Planning stream and collaborate with functional teams as well as SI/BI partners to translate these into the template build, supporting robust testing and resolving design issues.
• Ensure end-to-end alignment across the ERP program for Scheduling/Production Planning processes, working with Process SMEs and Program Owners to identify, problem-solve, and develop solutions, while working closely with the Smart Manufacturing group for process consistency across systems (OMP Scheduling).
• Support the development of training materials and change management initiatives.
• Ensure program benefits are realized through the implementation of Production Planning processes.

Expertise in SAP APO PPDS / e-PPDS processes and systems, with experience in scheduling, business requirements, and production planning.
