Qualifications

• Proven Solution Architecture experience within large SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programmes.
• Strong end-to-end Finance process knowledge, particularly R2R, Payments, Treasury and FP&A.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP BTP, Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge of Payments architecture, bank connectivity, payment hubs and ISO 20022.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Finance and associated platforms.
• Shape solutions across R2R, P2P, O2C, Payments, Treasury, FP&A and Financial Reporting.
• Provide architectural oversight across SAP S/4HANA, RISE, SAP BTP, Fiori, Datasphere, BlackLine and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Conduct architecture impact assessments for new demand, business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Define solution designs, integration patterns, target architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Drive SAP Clean Core principles, platform reuse and the reduction of technical debt.
• Provide architecture assurance across design, delivery and implementation.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture and technology delivery teams.

SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect - Contract

Location: UK- Hybrid (2-days per week at customer site)
Duration: 3-6 Months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect to provide end-to-end architecture leadership across a major Group Finance and CT SAP Transformation programme.

The role will shape and assure solutions across SAP S/4HANA Finance, Payments & Treasury, Record to Report (R2R), Finance Automation and FP&A, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, SAP strategy and the wider Finance transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Finance and associated platforms.
• Shape solutions across R2R, P2P, O2C, Payments, Treasury, FP&A and Financial Reporting.
• Provide architectural oversight across SAP S/4HANA, RISE, SAP BTP, Fiori, Datasphere, BlackLine and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Experience with Finance automation tools such as BlackLine and financial close solutions.
• Strong architecture governance, stakeholder management and business case assessment experience.

Contract: Initial 3-6 months, UK based, Inside IR35.
