Job summary

Confidential is seeking an organized and proactive SAP Purchasing Administrator on a 14-month fixed-term contract. Based in East Kent, you'll ensure timely availability of essential components and collaborate across Sales, Planning, Ops and Customer Service.

You will procure materials, optimize with SAP, manage lead times, track orders and generate vendor performance reports, while supporting forecasting and reducing backlogs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Procure a range of critical materials, managing batch sizes, lead times, and vendor performance.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Planning, Ops, Customer Service) to minimise backlogs and ensure part availability.
• Support forecasting to keep supply aligned with business demand.
• Track and expedite purchase orders.
• Produce reports on vendor performance, cost variance, and more.
