Computer Futures are seeking an experienced SAP PSCD Functional Consultant to join a public sector programme in Worthing, with two days per week onsite. The role focuses on SAP PSCD (FI-CA), TRM solutions, and delivering enhancements from requirements through to live implementation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, design effective solutions, support development and testing, and ensure smooth deployment into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to end-to-end SAP PSCD/FI-CA solutions delivery.
• Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements.

Location: Worthing, UK (2 days per week onsite)

Rate: 459.38 per day

Overview

I'm looking for an experienced SAP PSCD Functional Consultant to join a public sector programme delivering enhancements and project work relating to SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) solutions. This is a challenging and varied role requiring strong functional expertise across SAP PSCD (FI-CA), excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality SAP solutions from requirements gathering through to live implementation.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements, design effective solutions, support development and testing activities, and ensure successful deployment into production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the delivery of end-to-end SAP solutions across new and existing projects.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements.
• Produce detailed design documentation, including blueprints and functional specifications.
• Configure SAP PSCD/FI-CA solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
• Support development teams during the build phase and perform functional validation of solutions.
• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure solutions are fully understood and tested appropriately.
• Support solution deployment and transition into live service environments.
• Conduct impact assessments and contribute to solution design and project planning activities.
• Ensure documentation is completed to appropriate standards and methodologies.
• Support problem management, incident resolution, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PSCD).
• Alternatively, significant FI-CA experience gained within Utilities, Telecommunications, Insurance, SAP BRIM, or Hybris Billing environments.
• Experience working with SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM).
• Experience delivering at least one full SAP FI-CA project lifecycle.
• Proven experience supporting and enhancing SAP solutions in live environments.
• Experience implementing or supporting SAP solutions within public sector organisations.
• Strong consulting and customer-facing skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements.
• Understanding of management accounting techniques and SAP integration points with other modules.
• Experience producing functional specifications, design documentation, and testing artefacts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident-resolution skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience delivering SAP TRM solutions.
• Accountancy qualification.
• Eligibility for SC Clearance.
• Experience leading or mentoring SAP functional consultants.
• Knowledge of public sector financial processes and governance.

Clearance Required:

BPSS (SC eligibility advantageous)
