Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is seeking a SAP PSCD Functional Consultant for a 7-month contract in Worthing with 2 days per week in the office. You will lead end-to-end SAP PSCD initiatives, coordinate workshops, and deliver blueprints, functional specifications, and builds to support a major public sector program.

The role requires SAP PSCD/FI-CA experience, knowledge of Tax and Revenue Management, and strong consulting and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• SAP PSCD and FI-CA experience in the public sector preferred.
• Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent consulting and customer-facing skills are essential.
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP delivery activities and coordinate project workstreams (impacts, blueprints, functional specifications, build).
• Attend and lead client workshops to understand requirements and articulate solutions.
• Write design documentation such as blueprints and functional specifications.
• Configure SAP to meet client requirements and support builders during the build phase.
• Assist testers and ensure proper understanding of the solution for effective testing.
• Ensure successful delivery to live and provide handover to live services.
• Knowledge of SAP Tax and Revenue Management is a plus.

SAP PSCD Functional Consultant
7 Month contract initially + Extensions
Based: Worthing with 2 days/week in office
Rate - £400 - £470 p/d via Umbrella

A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. We have a great opportunity for a SAP PSCD Functional Consultant on a long term program of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the SAP Delivery Centre leading a team to coordinate and deliver end to end solutions for new and existing projects (impacts, blueprints, functional specifications, build, etc.)
• Attend and lead workshops with the client to understand requirements and articulate the solution
• Write design documentation, such as blueprints and functional specifications
• Configure the SAP solution to meet the client requirements
• Support developers during the build phase and completing initial testing of the solution
• Support testers to ensure that they understand the solution and it is tested appropriately
• Ensuring that the solution is successfully delivered to the live system and an appropriate handover to live services is completed
• Knowledge of SAP Tax and Revenue Management is a plus

Key Skills & Experience:

• SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) (else other industry specific FI-CA experience such as Utilities, Telecoms, Insurance or SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing)
• SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management)
• At least 1 full project life cycle (FI-CA) and proven system support experienceExperience supporting/implementing SAP solutions within the Public Sector
• Excellent consulting and customer facing skills
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements, management accounting techniques and integration touch points to other SAP modules.
• Accountancy qualifications a distinct advantage.
• Problem and incident resolution, Testing, Documentation standards/methodology, Interpersonal skills
