Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP PSCD Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract in Worthing with 2 days per week in the office, rate £400-£450 per day.

You will join a large-scale SAP TRM programme supporting HMRC, delivering full lifecycle from requirements to live service, focusing on PSCD/FI-CA, TRM, and public sector integration.

BPSS clearance required; SC eligibility advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PSCD / FI-CA.
• Experience with SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM).
• Experience delivering at least one complete FI-CA project lifecycle.
• Proven SAP production/support experience.
• Experience delivering or supporting SAP solutions within the Public Sector.
• Strong functional consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, producing functional designs and configuring SAP solutions.
• Good understanding of integration points between SAP FI-CA/PSCD and other SAP modules.
• Strong problem‑solving, incident resolution, testing and documentation skills.
• BPSS clearance, with SC eligibility advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to end‑to‑end SAP functional delivery across new and existing projects.
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Facilitate and lead client workshops where required.
• Produce functional documentation, including blueprints and functional specifications.
• Configure SAP PSCD / FI-CA solutions to meet agreed requirements.
• Work closely with developers throughout the build phase.
• Support and undertake functional testing, ensuring solutions meet the agreed requirements.
• Work with test teams to clarify requirements and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Support implementation into the live environment and ensure effective handover to support teams.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the wider SAP TRM solution.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced SAP PSCD Functional Consultant to join a large-scale SAP Tax and Revenue Management programme supporting HMRC.

You’ll work within an established SAP delivery team, contributing to enhancements and project work across SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) and Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PSCD / FI-CA).

This is a hands‑on functional consulting role covering the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing and implementation into live service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP PSCD / FI-CA.
• Experience with SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM).
• Experience delivering at least one complete FI-CA project lifecycle.
• Proven SAP production/support experience.
• Experience delivering or supporting SAP solutions within the Public Sector.
• Strong functional consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, producing functional designs and configuring SAP solutions.
• Good understanding of integration points between SAP FI-CA/PSCD and other SAP modules.
• Strong problem‑solving, incident resolution, testing and documentation skills.

Alternative FI-CA Experience

Candidates with strong industry‑specific FI-CA experience may also be considered, particularly from:

• Utilities
• Telecommunications
• Insurance
• SAP BRIM / Hybris Billing

Desirable

• Previous experience with SAP Tax and Revenue Management.
• Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements.
• Understanding of management accounting and financial processes.
• Accountancy qualification.
• Previous experience working on large‑scale government or public‑sector SAP programmes.
• BPSS clearance, with SC eligibility advantageous.
