Job summary

Line Up Aviation seeks an SAP Payroll and Time Advisor on a six-month contract to support payroll processing, time transactions, and HR administration. You will ensure SLA compliance while handling a range of payroll-related queries from internal stakeholders.

The role is based in Broughton, Flintshire, with 4 days onsite per week and 35 hours per week. An Umbrella arrangement at £23.07 per hour (inside IR35) applies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a payroll environment with data input and payroll queries.
  • Knowledge of PAYE, SMP, SPP, SSP, Student Loans and pensions.
  • Experience with a computerised payroll system; SAP preferred.
  • Experience in a busy office with administrative duties.
  • Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Google Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll transactions from internal stakeholders adhering to SLAs.
  • Handle time-related transactions including overtime and sickness.
  • Execute HR administration tasks such as references and letters.
  • Provide first-level support on the flexible benefits platform.
  • Maintain e-pay tool and liaise with the external e-payslip provider.

Job description

Our client has an opportunity for an SAP Payroll and Time Advisor to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension. You will be working as part of a payroll support and HR Administration team responsible for processing a broad range of payroll-related transactions received from internal stakeholders, whilst adhering to Service Level Agreements.

What you’ll be doing
Process Payroll related transactions from internal stakeholders, such as
  • Detached Duty, Standby, On Call
  • One time payment submissions
  • Memberships, Loans, PASS scheme
  • Working Party Subsistence
  • P45 / New Starter Declarations
  • Settlement Agreements
  • Court Orders
Process Time related transactions from internal stakeholders, such as
  • Overtime
  • Shift Changes
  • Sickness
  • Phased Return To Work
  • Time Savings Accounts, Salary Offset
Process HR Administration related activities

Complete transactions in relation to all HR administration activities, for example references and solicitors' letters

  • Provide first level support to all clients on the flexible benefits platform.
  • Maintain e-pay tool and provide first line of support when dealing with stakeholder queries
  • Produce documents through mail merge for internal mail shots and divisional correspondence
  • Manage all aspects of the relationship with the external e-payslip provider
Requirements
  • Experience within a payroll environment, with particular focus on payroll data input and handling payroll queries.
  • Knowledge of PAYE, SMP, SPP, SSP, Student Loans, Pensions and other deductions.
  • Experience of a computerised payroll system - SAP would be preferable.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment and performing a broad range of administrative duties.
  • Proven customer service experience both verbal and written.
  • Excellent skills in the use of Google Applications.
