Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking an experienced MRP & Inventory Planner to manage SAP-based planning for a global manufacturing environment. You will oversee master data quality, material availability, and alignment with production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and cost control.

You will collaborate with procurement and production teams, leveraging SAP MD04/MB52/ME2N reports to drive decisions and continuous improvement initiatives across master data governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MRP and inventory planning within manufacturing.
• Advanced SAP skills focusing on MM and PP modules.
• Strong ability to analyse SAP data to guide planning decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain SAP MRP processes from master data to planning runs.
• Keep material master records, BOMs, and work centres accurate in SAP.
• Analyse SAP demand/supply proposals and align with production plans.
• Monitor SAP inventory daily and mitigate shortages or overstock.
• Collaborate with procurement to convert planned orders to purchase orders.
• Coordinate with production to align material availability with schedules.
• Generate insights using SAP reporting tools (MD04, MB52, ME2N).
• Adjust SAP parameters (lot sizes, safety stock, reorder points) for accuracy.
• Support data governance and master data quality improvement.
