Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Material Planner to ensure accurate material throughput and effective control for manufacturing cells and external customers. The role focuses on world-class material flow, storage, and kitting in readiness for program ramp-ups and integration.

You will attend daily rhythms, review material positions, and apply problem-solving skills to deliver swift resolutions while supporting process improvements to reduce cycle times and inventory turns.

Qualifications

• IT literate with confident user of PC packages and experienced in ERP/MRP planning systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with wider team.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily operating rhythms to ensure cell material position clarity.
• Use planning methods to execute in line with Production Plan.
• Review material position and drive supply-chain to deliver to customer requirements.
• Support leadership on process improvement initiatives.
