Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance specialist for 2nd/3rd line support on a high-profile defence programme.

The role requires UK DV clearance, strong FI/CO skills (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling), and AMS/ITIL background. Hybrid UK-based work with a comprehensive package and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is required.
• Strong functional skills in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Experience in Application Management Services (AMS) or ITIL-aligned support environments.
• Practical understanding of period-end close procedures and integration with MM / PS.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line functional support across SAP S/4HANA Finance modules
• Manage incidents, change requests, problem resolution, and financial period-end processing
• Handle incident resolution, service requests, period-end financial close support, and system optimizations
• Work within ITIL-aligned service delivery standards on high-profile defense projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and integrate modules such as MM and PS
