Job description

Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):

• Establish connectivity within SAP landscape between SAP, non-SAP, and cloud applications.
• Proficiency in working with SQL, SQL Procedures, and ABAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and create technical specifications for new applications and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP BTP extensions and add-ons for existing SAP solutions in S/4HANA.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in SAP BTP development, including following SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Implement application security using SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Identity, SSO, OAuth 2.0, etc.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure application quality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application development.
• Provide technical documentation for developed applications, including design documents, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP architecture, components, and capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of SAP BTP services such as CPI, Build Work Zone, and Build Process Integration; ability to suggest solutions for modernizing the SAP estate.
• Expertise in ABAP coding using Cloud products. SQL procedures and Python skills are a plus.
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with various SAP and non-SAP systems using technologies such as OData, REST, and SOAP.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP BTP and recommend new technologies and tools for continuous improvement.
• Experience in at least 2 projects involving BTP, covering LCNC, with good exposure to ABAP cloud programming.

Experience required:

• 8+ years of total IT experience.
