Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in the United Kingdom is seeking an SAP FICO specialist to support our SAP environments, including S/4 HANA. The role requires UK Eyes Only SC clearance and includes designing functional specs and guiding ABAP changes within a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with the SAP FICO team and business users, delivering enhancements and aligning with our Digital organisation’s standards across platforms including our French ERP footprint.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on SAP systems, including S/4 HANA.
• Implement enhancements and projects per Airbus Defence & Space guidelines.
• Collaborate with the SAP FICO team and DIGITAL organisation and key users.
• Support the team with new requirements from key users.
• Understand user needs and propose solutions to issues and requirements.
• Create functional designs and support ERP developers with ABAP input.
• Contribute to ERP Delivery Center service delivery across platforms, including the French platform.
• Manage project enhancements and bug fixing on SAP FI and CO modules, including PS controlling and CATS.

Job description

Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.
• Sole British National living in the United Kingdom for a minimum of 5 years.
• Experienced in SAP FICO domain.
• Proven functional skills in ERP Finance, including configuration and integration aspects in AA, GL, AP, AR and TR modules, as well as CO modules.
• Ability to manage role management in SAP while assuring segregation of duties at Finance level.
• Ability to create functional designs and support ERP developers at functional level to develop or modify ABAP code.
• Customer and delivery oriented mindset.
